This science-backed interactive presentation will shed new light on what “Executive presence” and “Leadership presence” are and how we can build them in ourselves and our teams without sacrificing genuineness or excluding fresh perspectives.

The skills outlined in this workshop can be applied to networking conversations, sales calls, job interviews, investor pitches, professional presentations, and anywhere else where you need to step up and share your ideas with clarity, command, and calm.

What to Say When You Don't Know What to Say

Learn to handle mistakes, mishaps, and microaggressions with power and grace.

Connection and impact in the workplace can be difficult to achieve when daily conversation is often riddled with intentional or unintentional exclusion.

In this interactive (but introvert-friendly) workshop, participants will learn a practical system for quickly regaining composure and constructively responding when they experience or witness problematic communication.

We will explore tangible tools for showing up with more grace and gravitas and a simple three-step system for remembering what to do and say when emotions and stakes are high.

Participants will leave knowing what to do before, during, and after crucial conversations to bring forward their best selves. They will learn tangible techniques for instantly reacting to unexpected challenges and making the most of unexpected opportunities with grace and presence.

Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about and experience:

  • Poise Preparation: What to do BEFORE a high-stakes conversation to set up for success,
  • The FIG process: A three-step technique for handling awkward or aggressive events in a presentation or conversation,
  • Refill and Re-calibrate Rules: What to do and not to do after a challenging encounter to facilitate better personal and community health.

Attending this engaging and entertaining hands-on training will help participants increase their confidence and feel empowered to gracefully advocate for better ideas and more collaboration in the workplace.
